The event, supported by JK Moving Services, Loudoun Senior Interest Network (LSIN), Northern Virginia Senior Resource Network (NVSRN), and Positive Aging Community/Beacon Newspapers, focused on real experiences with downsizing, moving, and planning for the next chapter.
A key message throughout the event was simple: planning ahead can make transitions feel much more manageable.
Attendees heard practical advice about downsizing in stages, deciding what belongings truly matter, preserving family memories, and involving loved ones in the process.
